Maria Thompson Corley—an exceptional pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter—is a Juilliard-trained artist whose music is a powerful celebration of Black women’s artistry. Her performances weave together the heartfelt melodies of Soul Sanctuary with gospel-infused piano compositions, delivering an experience that is both intimate and profoundly moving.

This summer, Maria will grace the stage at London’s renowned Wigmore Hall before making a special visit to Arona from July 20th to 22nd. This rare opportunity presents the perfect moment to bring her soul-stirring music to Lago Maggiore. The concert will be private.

Geertje Podevyn (b. 1962, Flanders, Belgium) is a Belgian violinist and music educator. She began playing violin at the age of nine, studying first with her grandfather and later at the local music academy.

From 1980 to 1985, she earned her Bachelor’s degree at the Conservatorium Gent. Since then, she has enjoyed a vibrant career performing with ensembles such as the Limburg Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonie Zuid Nederland, and has collaborated internationally, including with the Thai Youth Orchestra.

Additionally, she is active in teaching and contributing to musical development across Europe and beyond.
